Adding a Sales Channel - Shopify
Overview
In this guide, we will explain how integrate with your Shopify website, on Mintsoft.
Before you start
It is important to note that in order for the API to authenticate successfully, your Shopify store must be live.
Adding Shopify
1. Click Connect then Order Integrations
2. Next, click Shopify
3. Then click Add Account
4. Enter just the My Shopify URL
5. Click Save
6. Log in to your Shopify store
7. Click Settings then Apps and Sales channels
8. Search for Mintsoft
9. Click Add App
10. A new tab will open showing a success message
11. Go back to Mintsoft
12. Click Connect then Order Integrations
13. Next, click Shopify
14. Click Edit against the connection
15. Now you are able to configure the connection with the following options:| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Client | (3PL Only) Who the client is for this integration. |
| Warehouse | The warehouse for this integration. |
| Channel | What channel to import orders through. |
| Delay (Minutes) | When dispatch updates sync back to Shopify. Note: We recommend 15 minutes. |
| Order Import Sync Delay (Minutes) | This is the delay for new orders to import from Shopify into Mintsoft. Note: We recommend 60 minutes. |
| Order Prefix | This is the prefix the system adds at the start of order numbers. |
| Active | Keep this off until you authorise and set a location against the connection. |
| Stock Sync Delay (Minutes) | This is how frequently you would like the stock to sync. Note: We recommend 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. |
| Stock Sync | Turn this on to sync stock. |
| Sync New Products? | Turn this on if you want to import new products created on Shopify. |
| SyncProductUpdates | To sync updates to products from Shopify. Product updates support the following fields:

| ProductSyncDelay (Hours) | How frequently you would like to sync new products. Note: We recommend one hour. |
| Only Download Published Products in Sync | Turn this on if you only want to import published products. |
| URL | The URL of your store. |
| API Version | Select 2023-07 |
| Attempt to import partial fulfilled orders | This imports partially fulfilled orders. |
| Number Of Days to Check back from Orders | How many days in the past you want Mintsoft to check for orders. We recommend setting this as -7. Note: Setting it as 0 will check for every order ever placed |
16. Click Update
Setting up the location
1. On the right-hand side, click Get Location.
2. On the location, click Set Location.
3. Click Edit then select Active to ON.
4. Click Update.
Managing multiple locations
1. Dealing with multiple locations
2. If the store you're connecting to has multiple locations, and you only want to import orders for a single location:3. Click Connect then click Order Integrations.
4. Click Shopify then click Edit.
5. Click the Advanced tab and Select Only Import Orders Fulfilled from LocationId to ON.
6. Click Update.
