Adding Expandly as an Authorised Partner to your Amazon Seller Central Account

Adding Expandly as an Authorised Partner to your Amazon Seller Central Account

Overview

In this guide, we will explain how you can add Expandly as an Authorised Partner on your Amazon Seller Central Account.

Since Expandly is an Amazon SPN member, you will be adding us an Authorised Partner NOT a Secondary User. Authorised Partner access is a more secure and easier approach to manage for both parties and a more appropriate route for what we're accessing your account for.

Why does Expandly need to be added as an Authorised Partner?

Having access to your Seller Central account is essential for Expandly. This is to allow us to provide services to our clients selling on Amazon and provide Amazon Support, without relying on yourselves to provide any necessary information or reports from your Amazon Seller account.

This is particularly important in the instance of VAT Compliance. Once your VAT registration is complete and you have an active VAT Number, Expandly will be required to file your taxes, based off of Amazon report data. Having access to your Seller Central account will allow the Expandly Compliance Team to download the required reports directly from your Amazon account without delay, which will prevent any deadlines from being missed and unnecessary charges for nil-filings.

If you require a signed NDA from us prior to granting access or have any additional queries about why we need Seller Central access, please contact us and we can assist.
