From time to time, you may wish to remove stock from Amazon warehouses to save fees/costs. In these instances you will need to create an Amazon Removal Order. In this guide, we will explain what happens when these goods are received back into the warehouse and what processes will need to be followed to allow is to sort, and book this stock back in.
When a Removal Order comes back from Amazon, this is coming from multiple different warehouse(s) and arrangements and the stock that is being received will usually be received with varying quantities and in varying forms of conditions
Typically, an Amazon Removal Order will turn up on multiple mixed, unlabelled pallets or boxes and the only way for our Warehouse Team to be able to handle these would be for each separate box to be opened up an for a inventory/stock and quality check to be carried out on the goods received. This would need to be carried out item by item.
At no point, will your stock arrive into the Warehouse on an Amazon removal order, in a way that it can be resold straight away - Expandly will unfortunately be required to unbox the goods, identify what has been received and sort the stock. We can then identify what units are sellable stock and what can be put back into storage for you
Due to the amount of work associated with Amazon Removal Orders, these will be handled and processed as an External Return - Unfortunately, to to the nature in which the stock will be received from Amazon, it is not possible to handle these as Inbounds, so standard Inbound charges would not be applicable
We understand that arranging Amazon Removal Orders can be a very stressful time and want to do everything we can to make this process as simple as possible and for your stock to be back in storage and selling ASAP.
