Sales Orders - Amazon VTR

Overview

In this guide, we will explain what Amazon VTR is and where this can be located within your Amazon Account.

What is Amazon VTR

  1. The Amazon Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) will measure how often your business is using  Amazon verified carrier, service and tracking number, when shipping your orders.
  2. Amazon states in their FAQs that once a shipment has had a delivery scan event (from the carrier), shipments will be considered to have valid tracking information and this will then have a positive impact on your VTR.
  3. Amazon started tracking businesses VTR as of April 2021 and this measures performance over a 30 day period

What is the target Amazon VTR?

  1. Amazon requires you to reach and maintain a Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) of 95%
  2. Please Note: VTR will be measured at Product Category Level. If you sell across multiple different Amazon categories, each product category will have its own VTR

Which carriers are compliant with the Amazon VTR?

  1. Sellers are encouraged, by Amazon, to use carriers from the following list to ship their packages, as these carriers provide real-time tracking status to Amazon:
For Domestic deliveries: Deutsche Post, DHL, DPD, ePost Global, GLS, Hermes, RIECK, UPS, Emons, Cargoline, DB Schenker, Kühne&Nagel, DSV and Rhenus.
