Overview

In this guide, we will outline the requirements, when submitting labels associated with the 'Textiles' category. 

Label Requirements - Textile products

In the instance where you sell Textile products, here are the requirements for onboarding and getting your labels compliant, and ready for the EU.

 

  1. If you do not already have labels for your product(s), please complete the label template and provide photos/mock ups, so we can issue the compliant reports. A copy of the product template, can be viewed here
    Please Remember: Content is key, not the format. There can also be multiple labels, in any position on the packaging 
  1. Obtain a copy of any manufacturing accreditations, formal audit report or documents to demonstrate competent manufacturing and that products are made to quality standards
    - This could be in the form of a ISO9001 document, a formal audit certificate or Quality Control processes
    - If you work with suppliers, they should easily be able to provide these required accreditations
  2. Provide Testing Documents for each product
    - This could be flammability testing, strength testing or other forms of testing
    - If you do not have product testing we can help complete a Product Risk Assessment for all SKUs and this will demonstrate you have considered the risks and the products are safe to use
