Adding a Sales Channel - Big Commerce

Overview

In this guide, we will explain how to integrate Big Commerce, on Mintsoft.

Before you start

In order to integrate with Big Commerce , you first need to create an API account. To learn more about this, please review the Big Commerce Help Article.
Once the account has been created, you will be presented with some credentials and you will need to take a note of the following:
  1. API Path
  2. Client ID
  3. Access Token

Adding Big Commerce

Once you have copied the API information from Big Commerce you will then need to add the account on Mintsoft.

1. Click Connect then Order Integrations
2. Next, click Big Commerce then Add Account
3. Choose the Warehouse and Channel
4. Set the Note Mapping Field
  1. Order notes from Big Commerce will be shown here
5. Paste the API Path into the URL field
6. Change the /v3/ at the end of the API Path to /v2/
7. Enter the Client ID and Access Token
8. Set your Picking, Ready and Dispatched status

9. Once you have finished configuring your connection, please click Add

Big Commerce - FAQ

V2 / V3 API Path
BigCommerce does not currently have a V3 Orders API, a V3 API is available for Products but not for Orders. To ensure orders are able to flow into Mintsoft we advise changing the API Path to /v2/ instead of /v3/
Recommended Order Statuses
  1. Picking Status ID: 9
  2. Ready Status ID: 11
  3. Despatched Status ID: 2
Tracking Carrier Values
Big Commerce will only accept specific values for their carrier tracking links to work, accepted couriers are listed here: Big Commerce Accepted Couriers.

Note: Please follow our External Courier Names article to add the values

Alt Codes
Big Commerce does not support alternative SKU codes when syncing stock.
