External Courier Names

Overview

When exporting or providing tracking info to another system they might require specific courier service names or codes for it to map up correctly on their end.

External Courier Services Names can be used for this to provide a translation between the Courier Service Name in Mintsoft and what the other channel knows it as for example in Mintsoft a Courier Service could be DPD - Next Day Parcel but when it gets notified to another system they just know it as DPD So you'd set up an External Courier Service Name to do that translation.

Set-Up

1 Click Shipping Management
2. Then Extras
3. Finally External Courier Service Names

Add all services for a courier in bulk

To add all of the services for a courier in bulk you can do the following:

1. Click Add External Courier Service Name
2. Choose the Client
3. Leave the CourierServiceId blank
4. Choose the Courier (DPD, DHL, Royal Mail)
5. Choose the Source
6. Enter the Name you want the Courier Service to show as
7. Then click Add

Upload via CSV

If there are lots to be added it can also be done via CSV:

1. Click Shipping Management
2. Then Extras
3. Then click Uploads
4. Select ExternalCourierServiceName as the template
