In this guide, we will outline the must-haves and provide a checklist, that will allow us to successfully assess your cosmetic product(s)
Cosmetic Registration Process
- Composition in trade names
- Exact percentages of
each raw material
- Name of each raw material
supplier
- Function of the raw material AND
- Raw materials’ documentation, including:
- MSDS (Safety Data Sheet)
- CofA (Certificate of Analysis)
- Non-animal testing statement
- For fragrances, natural extracts, oils: Allergen
report and IFRA statement
Step 2 - CPSR-B
Finished Product reports, including:
- 3-month accelerated Stability/Compatibility Study
- Preservative Efficacy Test (also called Challenge Test) – some
products might be exempt
- Certificate of Analysis of the finished Product (or TDS – Technical
Data Sheet or Specifications)
- For products with a SPF: UVA/UVB Efficacy tests
- GMP certificate
- Method of manufacture
- Non-animal testing statement of the finished product
- Packaging information and technical drawings
- Undesirable effect statement (if the product is already sold)

- Revised and Final
